Coming months - Seek pledges form all parishioners. Begin site preparation.
Phase I - Build Chapel and Family Life Center
Phase II - Build attached Administration center
Phase III - Build School wing and educational center
PROPOSED FUNDING METHOD FOR LANCASTER CAMPUS FAMILY LIFE BUILDING AND CHAPEL
I. Approximate cost of project: $2,500,000
(including amounts expended already to pay MPD and retainer to Milestone CM)
II. Funds raised so far: Approximately $600,000 - some expended already.
* It should also be noted that the total community contribution to this project to-date, is $1,100,000, if one includes the $ 500,000 raised by the LLC for the purchase of the land.
III. Funds donated from church community:
$1,200,000 from the Helen Vafiopoulos bequest.
$200,000 from the Church investment acct (as promised when the LLC was formed based on a GA decision).
IV. Remainder for fundraising:
$700,000
Reminders:
1. Unfulfilled pledges are about $300,000,
2. The $500,000 chapel bequest is locked in an estate dispute with NYS; however, when this is resolved, we anticipate that the family will fulfill their promise.
3. Anticipated fundraising $400,000
